John Salt has collated and summarised extracts from various reports from the British Government which have been declassified and are available to the general public at the Public Records Office, Kew. There is a wealth of information in these files which, although in the public domain, has probably never been published before. John has done a huge amount of work and has generously made it available to all, without condition.

Chris has kindly given permission for some of his photographs to be used on this site.

This site contains a huge amount of high quality graphics suitable for web use, all free! The background image and the chain horizontal divider on this site are modified from two of Andrew’s grpahics. There is plenty more that Andrew has to offer, and for anybody building their own site I can recommend that you start by looking there.

It is a lengthy report with considerable mathematics and reviews terminal ballistics as understood at the end of World War II.
