Ammunition Types and Development. Ammunition for anti-tank weapons ranges from the simple to the complex. This series of articles provides information on the types of ammunition used and their characteristics. As many developments did not mature by the end of World War II, some of the articles also cover modern ammunition to provide continuity, albeit with slightly less detail.
Armour Types and Development. High strength steel was the sole means of protection of armoured vehicles for the first forty years of their development. This series of articles provides information on the types of steel armour used and its development up until the end of World War II.
