Bonnesen, Claus. On Armour. 20 January 2000. Available [Online]: <http://www.mobilixnet.dk/~mob75281/index.htm> [7 September 2000]. This site was an invaluable resource for the penetration data of most non-Soviet guns. What made it particularly useful was that Claus has drawn his data from many books and determined a best estimate of the figures where different data is presented, and has quoted all his sources. He also has a few pages dealing with the different criteria used to measure penetration data which I have duplicated on this site. On Armour also presents detailed data on a few selected tanks which is well presented and being slowly expanded. Claus has kindly given permission for some of his photographs to be used on this site.

Devey, Andrew. Jagdtiger. The Most Powerful Armoured Fighting Vehicle of World War II. Vol. 1, Technical History. Atglen, Pennsylvania: Schiffer Publishing Ltd., 1999. This is probably the most detailed book on any single vehicle that I’ve seen. Volume 2 gives the combat history of the vehicle with detailed accounts of small unit actions which would be of interest to wargamers.
