Footnotes

1. D–10S, D–10T and 100mm ATG BS–3. Source: Zaloga, Steven J. and Ness, Leland S.: Red Army Handbook 1939–1945; Russian Military Zone and Red Steel. These guns were developed from the 85mm D–10 naval AA gun. The gun penetration data comes from the BS–3 ATG entry in Soviet Guns 1920–1945 as it is more complete. The BR–412D projectile had significantly better penetration capability and was issued sometime before 1945. Only 591 BS–3 ATGs were produced before the end of the war, and only 185 were in troop service in January 1945. [up]

2. 107mm obr.1910/30. Source: Russian Military Zone. There are two versions of this gun, obr.1910/30g and obr.1910/30n. The ‘g’ variant is a modernised Shneider 6–inch gun obr.1910. The ‘n’ variant was a further improvement which included a lengthened barrel of L48. The ballistic data and ammunition of the two versions is the same. [up]

3. M–60 obr.1939. Source: Zaloga, Steven J. and Ness, Leland S.: Red Army Handbook 1939–1945 and Russian Military Zone. Only 127 guns were produced before the factory in Novocherkassk was overrun in autumn 1941, and production was never restarted. [up]
