Footnotes

1. Pz.Kpfw.I. Source: Jentz, Thomas L: Tank Combat in North Africa and Achtung Panzer! Only 40 Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf.C were built, Ausf.D only got to the prototype stage, and only 30 Ausf.F were built. There is a minor discrepency in Jentz regarding the armour plate hardness for the turret face and mantle. The chrome nickel armour plate used on the Pz.Kpfw.I is specified for thicknesses up to 13mm, but the turret face and mantle are 14mm and 15mm thick, respectively. [up]

2. kl.Pz.Bef.Wg.. Source: Jentz, Thomas L: Tank Combat in North Africa and Achtung Panzer! The kl.Pz.Bef.Wg was based on the Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf.B chassis (only 6 were based on the Ausf.A chassis and differed from those based on the Ausf.B). The values for the glacis armour are missing from Jentz so I have assumed that they are the same as the Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf.B. [up]
