Footnotes

1. Hochkis. Source: Russian Military Zone. [up]

2. PS–2. Source: Russian Military Zone. [up]

3. B–3. Source: Russian Military Zone and Red Steel. The Russian Military Zone gives a calibre length of L60, while Red Steel has L46. This gun was copied from the German 3,7cm Pak 35/36 and modernised to accept Soviet ammunition. As the German gun had a barrel length of 46.5 I have used the barrel length given by Red Steel as it is the closest to this figure. [up]

4. 37mm ATG ChK–M1 obr.1944. Source: Zaloga, Steven J. and Ness, Leland S.: Red Army Handbook 1939–1945. This is a special light weight, low recoil weapon intended for paratrooper operations. Only 104 were issued to troops out of 472 that were manufactured during the war. [up]

5. 37mm AAG 61–K obr.1939. Source: Russian Military Zone. The maximum effective range against tanks was 900m. The angle of penetration is probably zero degrees because of the format of most of the data on Soviet Guns 1920–1945. [up]
